The Brand

Raynaud, a name that has been perpetuating the tradition of Limoges porcelain for over a century through three generations of entrepreneurs. A family history that has travelled to the four corners of the world, sharing in its collections a mix of culture, colors and inspirations. The company has asserted its curiosity over the years, giving rise to collaborations with the greatest names such as Jean Cocteau and Salvador Dali. Naturally, the company quickly got closer to the world of gastronomy and initiated partnerships with great starred chefs such as Thomas Keller.

The Tolède and Salamanque collections are two designs inspired by vegetal motifs that are very present on silverware and cutlery with engraved handles made in the 16th century in Toledo, Spain. Flowers and foliage in gold or platinum, linked together by lianas and volutes, create an extremely elaborate and precious theme that decorates each piece in a unique way. The rich palette of colors ranges from turquoise to red, white, green, black and ivory.

The Cristobal decor is imagined by the decorator Alberto Pinto. The color is particularly worked, it is deep, placed in dense flat on the handles of the cups or the teapot knobs, sugar bowl and soup tureen painted by hand. On the contrary, the corals on the plates and serving pieces seem to be painted in watercolor, so rich and numerous are the shades and gradations. A service which is declined in coral or navy blue for a table always refined and audacious.

An Ancestral knowledge

Raynaud has made its mark over the years thanks to its exceptional and ancestral knowledge - It was one of the first porcelain houses to be awarded the "Porcelaine de Limoges" certification. It cultivates precious know-how, such as hand painting, inlaying (an exceptionally luxurious decoration process mastered by few artisans.) or bespoke projects. With its Tolède and Salamanque motifs or its gold paintings, Raynaud has many potential to offer  to echo the culture of the Middle East.
